Thanks from Britannia

Mike Deveraux awarded the Rick Neave award for outstanding contribution to Britannia.

Mike Deveraux was honoured at a recent meeting of Britannia with the Rick Neave award for outstanding contribution to Britannia.

The award was made in the year the Mike is retiring (allegedly) to spend more time relaxing in his home in Corfu.  Mike said that he never thought he would get the award and he was extremely grateful. “I will miss you all.  30 years in Britannia have been great fun,” he said.

Mike also took the opportunity to present a gift (pictured) to his friend David Trenchard who, he said, was one of the first people he know in the industry when they were both in the twenties.  The figures were of the two grumpy old men, Statler and Waldorf from The Muppet Show.  No connection of course.
