Two new LCL freight services from DHL Global Forwarding.

DHL Global Forwarding has launched two new LCL ocean freight services between India and Sweden and between India and the UK.

The Swedish service will be direct from Nhava Sheva to Gothenburg and transit time will be reduced to 25 days. The UK service will transport exports from the UK to Nhava Sheva in 27 days.

The new direct LCL services reduce transit time and total carbon emissions.  In the case of the direct India to Sweden LCL service, the new routing enables CO₂ savings of up to 21%. India and Sweden share a long tradition of trade cooperation, which has significantly grown in recent years and shows potential for further development. By offering reduced transit time of 25 days from Nhava Sheva to Gothenburg, DHL becomes one of the few consolidators from India to reach the Scandinavian destination directly.
