Airbnb has expanded its Airbnb for Work service to focus directly on individuals relocating for work.

In a recent press release the company said that 700,000 companies have so far had employees book with Airbnb for Work.

The company said that around 20% of employees worldwide are eager to relocate yet around 40% of international assignments are considered to be failures, with cultural adjustment being a key factor.  Airbnb provides a temporary home for people that allows them to try out their new location in comfort and settle in more easily to their new surroundings.

Airbnb is also providing accommodation for off-site meetings and team-building events.
