Reason Global Insurance, Lloyd's of London's only specialist broker solely dedicated to moving, self-storage and relocation industries, is a Platinum Sponsor for the FEDESSA (Federation of European Self Storage Associations) conference in Stockholm on 1 and 2 October, 2014.

The event also includes the FEDESSA and SSA UK (Self Storage Association United Kingdom) awards that celebrate and reward the achievements of the people who make their companies, and the industry as a whole, successful.

As well as taking a stand at the conference, Reason Global is sponsoring the welcome dinner at the Stockholm Opera House and the Charity Initiative of the Year award.  “As the only Lloyd’s of London Broker in the industry we are uniquely able to write international self-storage business,” said Malcolm Pearson from Reason Global.  “This means that these international events are especially important to us and we want to do all we can to promote our business and help the evening go with a swing.”

Reason Global will also be contributing to the business element of the conference by taking part in a panel discussion on day two to explore the insurance issues resulting from the floods in Copenhagen in 2011. Lorraine Dicksee (General Manager) and Paul Norris (Broking Manager) will talk about how they reacted to the insurance claims that followed, the swift processes adopted in dealing with the insured and their clients’ damages, and the importance of having the correct cover for such situations.
