The Santa Fe Malaysia team has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification for information and data security. It is the only relocation company in Malaysia to hold this certification to date.
Santa Fe's objective of managing information security is to ensure business continuity and minimise business damage to customers’ and itself by complying with all applicable legal and legislative regulations, as well as minimising the impact of security incidents, breakdown of business process and where possible, preventing their occurrence.
The company says it has a very strict protocol in place for handling personal documents and sensitive information. Copies of passports, birth certificates, etc. are encrypted when transmitted in soft copy, while hard copies are securely locked in filing cabinets at all times. Pre-employment checks are conducted for any new staff member involved with visa and immigration work. The company’s ISO 27001 handling procedures ensure that there is no unauthorised access to this data during collection, storage or destruction. All its staff and vendors are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. A ‘Destruction Confirmation Certificate’ is provided to customers upon completion of a disposal job.
Santa Fe Malaysia is also ISO 9001, 14001 and FAIM ISO certified.
