MOL grows closer to customers.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), one of the world's largest global multimodal transportation companies, will take over all the agency activities carried out on its behalf in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary as part of its strategy to grow closer to customers. 

Currently all MOL agency activities in these countries are performed by Multi-Shipping and the transfer of responsibilities will take effect as of 1 February, 2012.

Jochen Veldmann, Executive Director Area for MOL Europe, said the company is establishing its own presence to increase its commitment to the fast-growing region of Eastern Europe. “The decision to serve these important markets with our own organisation is part of MOL’s company-wide strategy to have our own people on the ground and grow closer to our customers.”
