Johnsons appoints new training manager

Long-established UK moving specialist Johnsons has announced the appointment of Dave Hurdiss as training and quality manager.

Dave HurdissDave joins Johnsons with 30 years’ experience in the moving industry having previously held numerous compliance and training roles. He will be responsible for enhancing Johnsons operational training across all its businesses, ensuring the highest levels of service for its clients.

Gareth Hilton, Managing Director of Johnsons said, “We are delighted to welcome Dave to Johnsons. Our team is growing rapidly and 2018 saw excellent results for the Johnsons group. Dave brings a wealth of experience and creativity in his approach to training and this appointment underlines our commitment to the moving industry and our ambitions to demonstrate leadership in every aspect of our operations.”

Gareth Hilton added that Johnsons are also pleased to be supporting Dave in his role as a volunteer Community First Responder with West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Johnsons was established in 1871 and provides moving, storage and relocation services to businesses and individuals both in the UK and internationally.
