A UK technology company, Phlo Systems, has launched a new platform called tradePhlo which, the company claims, can make customs declarations faster and easier for international removal companies.

The platform uses ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, to simplify and automate the process. “Customs declarations involve a myriad of details, including product descriptions, quantities, values, and tariff classifications,” said Saurabh Goyal, Founder of Phlo Systems. “Traditionally, declarations have been a manual and error-prone task, often leading to delays, fines, and costly mistakes. ChatGPT, however, eliminates these inefficiencies, offering removal firms an intelligent and swift way to complete customs documentation accurately.” 

“Shipment details can be inputted effortlessly and real-time assistance is available around the clock,” explained Saurabh. “Thankfully, long gone are the days of dealing with reams of paperwork and manual data entry, we are harnessing technology to streamline the entire process, saving valuable time and resources and eliminating costly mistakes and customs-related penalties.” 

Zohaib Akram, CEO of Bravo Removals in London, uses the tradePhlo platform. “For us, the entire customs declaration process has often been an administrative bottleneck with delays and mistakes a regular occurrence,” he explained. “As an early adopter of tech and partnering with Phlo Systems, it’s become much easier and intuitive and allows us to rectify any discrepancies before they become significant issues.
