Business Moves Group (BMG) has won a major relocation contract with Three Mobile.

Dave Myers BMGThree has corporate offices in Reading, Maidenhead and Glasgow and BMG will relocate all the company’s Maidenhead staff to the Reading office by the end of March.

With the majority of staff not able to attend the site due to the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, BMG will be securely bagging all personal locker items in the Maidenhead office, many of which have been there since staff started working remotely in lockdown 1.  BMG will relocate these bags to the Reading office for the staff to collect once they are able to return.

In addition to the relocation, the project involves the disposal, reuse, or sale of all surplus office furniture. This begins with a thorough audit to determine the quantity, condition and location of all items involved. Following the audit, BMG will work with Three to determine the best course of action for all furniture, including reuse, resale, recycling and donation. The goal is nil to landfill in line with Three’s Corporate Social Responsibility targets. Three has also confirmed that suitable furniture can be donated to local schools.

The project will be managed by Gleeds, a leading property and construction consultancy that is providing project management office, cost management and relocation project management services to Three.

Dave Myers, Sales Director at BMG is delighted to be working with Gleeds in what he calls a two-pronged operation.  “A two-pronged relocation project is an exciting challenge and we’re delighted to be supporting Three. The project is particularly meaningful to BMG as we are based in Reading and it’s great to work with a company that employs so many in the local area.”

William Robinson, Senior Workspace Manager at Three said, “BMG ticks all the boxes, from its expertise in relocation to sustainability credentials. We’re excited to get underway and move to our new Central Office with the minimum disruption to our employees and customers.”

Three Mobile has 4,800 employees in the UK and more than 10 million active customers.
