McGimpsey Removals in Northern Ireland has recently purchased an 18-tonne Mercedes, five-container removals vehicle from Mac’s Truck Sales of Huddersfield to meet the firm’s growing business needs.

McGimpsey'sMelissa Gibbons, Managing Director of McGimpsey Removals, said that the vehicle was purchased to expand the fleet.  “It will be used to service our weekly cross-channel service and our local domestic moving service,” she explained. “We chose the five-container option to reduce double handling of customers' goods for moves in and out of store.”

She added that she chose the Mercedes rigid because of its high quality and reliability. She also praised Mac’s Trucks. “We are a returning customer of Mac’s Trucks because of the good customer service, speed of response and aftercare experienced.”

McGimpsey Removals is a family-run removals business founded in 1983 by the McGimpsey brothers.  Melissa and husband Steven took over the running of the business back in 2018 and have since invested in creating a haulage distribution side of the business to acquire additional logistics contracts.

“It has been a pleasure to work with McGimpsey once again,” said Martin McDade-Smith from Mac’s Trucks, “and we look forward to them returning in the future.”
