HOLD expands self storage in London

HOLD Self Storage has acquired a new site in Croydon for over £6m and will be opening its second, London-based facility at the end of 2026.

24379 - DMWR - CanterburyRoad_View03The site promises to bring almost 22,000 sq ft of storage space - complete with private parking, 24hr security measures and charming customer service to make the storage experience as seamless as it can be, and to suit all manner of storage needs. 

HOLD is committed to offering Londoners that little bit more - a place to breathe, think and grow. That's why, as part of HOLD's plans for its Croydon site, it will be incorporating almost 250sq ft of collaborative workspace to allow those ideas to flourish. HOLD projects that as a direct results of small-medium sized enterprises using the facility, it will create almost 350 full-time-equivalent jobs.

The company opened its first London store at Kings Cross in 2024.  Frederic de Ryckman de Betz, CEO of HOLD Storage, expressed his enthusiasm, for the new site saying, "After the success of our debut store, the first test of our mission to deliver an unparalleled and modernised service offering to self storage, our team cannot wait to bring the same to our newest site. We intend to empower local individuals and businesses to provide the space that they need to live and work by making self storage as convenient as possible.”

The new site will offer a range of space from lockers to 500 square feet units to cater for local residents, students and businesses. Customers may also apply for 24-hour access to the site if needed.
