A strong future built on shared expertise and fresh perspectives – that’s the message that came out of Warsaw, where the General Assembly of FEDEMAC officially approved its new Board during FEDEMAC Week on April 9, 2025.

FEDEMAC BoardThe newly appointed Board reflects both continuity and renewal. It is led by Bertil Durieux (Belgium), who will continue serving as president, alongside long-standing members: Giulio Argirò (Italy), Stefan Dimitrov (Bulgaria), Dana Dascalu (Romania), and Ian Studd (United Kingdom).

Joining the Board for the first time are Cristina Mesonero (Spain) and Andreas Eichinger (Germany). While new to the Board, both are already known for their active roles in FEDEMAC’s Lobbying Group, with Andreas currently leading the Group’s work on strengthening industry advocacy across Europe.

“With a blend of experience and new ideas, this Board is ready to represent the interests of the European moving industry more strongly than ever,” said President Bertil Durieux during the assembly.

The event, held in Warsaw, was part of a dynamic FEDEMAC Week, which brought together moving industry leaders from across Europe to collaborate, reflect, and shape the Association’s direction.
