On 29 July, 2025, Sobolak International assisted the local fire department in Austria with the transport of a specialised hose washing machine, manufactured in Germany.

The advanced system, designed to automatically clean, dry, and rewind fire hoses, represents a significant investment in operational efficiency, saving firefighters considerable time and manpower compared with manual cleaning.

The machine was shipped from Hamburg and first unloaded at Sobolak International’s warehouse, where the company’s heavy-duty forklift equipment was used to safely handle the unit. From there, it was carefully transferred onto a fire truck for the short journey - just 1km to the fire station.

To ensure smooth and secure delivery, the move was carried out with a blue-light escort through local streets.
