Colleagues, friends, and families from White & Company took part in this year’s BAR Young Movers Beach Clean, an annual initiative that brings together people from across the removals industry to support both environmental and charitable causes.

The nationwide clean-up, which ran from 19–28 September, invited participants to register for local events through the BAR Young Movers’ website. The activity aims to preserve coastal environments while raising funds for the Marine Conservation Society and the Removers Benevolent Association (RBA).

White & Company not only contributed volunteers to the initiative but also made a £500 donation to the RBA. The charity provides financial assistance to members of the removals industry and their families during times of hardship.

The Beach Clean is open to anyone, not just members of the Young Movers group, and encourages participation from businesses, individuals, families, and friends. Many locations are dog-friendly, helping make the activity more accessible and inclusive.

Organisers say the event has proven to be a straightforward way for removals companies to make a positive impact beyond their core business activities. It combines practical environmental action with direct support for industry colleagues in need, highlighting the value of collaboration across the sector.
