A report of the FIDI webinar focussing on the changes in EU/UK movements resulting from Brexit.
On Tuesday, 9 February, FIDI held an online webinar to discuss the implications of Brexit for the moving industry. The event, entitled The Road Ahead and hosted by Dominic Weaver, Editor of FIDI Focus, was to consider the key issues that have arisen and provide some practical tips for movers on both sides of the English Channel.
The panellists were Robert Gilbert, CEO of Oman Beverly Smyth in Ireland and FIDI Ireland President; Ian Studd, Director General of BAR; Tony Tickner, MD Eura Group, Past President of BAR and member of the BAR Overseas Group Council; and Sarah Laouadi who is in charge of European and International policy at Logistics UK ...
