Its success has long been attributed to a customer-first philosophy; but, in recent years, the company has placed equal emphasis on environmental responsibility - transforming its product range and operations to reflect the changing demands of both customers and regulation.

Evolving with industry demands
The removals and self-storage sectors are shaped by shifting customer expectations, regulatory changes, and the need for cost-effective solutions.

Simpson Packaging notes that it has consistently adapted by “developing products that not only meet operational requirements but also support customers’ own sustainability commitments”.

Today, the majority of the company’s products contain recycled content. It continues: “All plastic products include a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste *PCW) to ensure compliance with the UK Plastic Packaging Tax. This addition to the make-up of the material complies with UK Plastic Tax regulations which affirm over £200 per tonne is payable on virgin plastic products.”
