Let’s start with the current process. At RemovalsPlus, we work with over 50 moving companies, helping them grow by generating enquiries through Google Ads and SEO.
These channels are still at the forefront of generating work, but after that point, we see the same issues repeatedly. Companies struggle to keep up with leads, need additional surveyors, or simply don’t have enough time in the office to process enquiries efficiently. These bottlenecks quickly stunt growth. You may have the demand, but without the right process behind it, conversion becomes inconsistent and resource heavy.
As time goes on, customer priorities are becoming clearer. Speed and convenience matter more than ever, and customers are often willing to pay more for them. In almost every other industry, instant results are now the norm, whether that’s booking travel, ordering physical products, or securing services online.
In removals, however, the process remains slow. Enquire, call, home visit, quote, then (finally) book. With so many moving parts, the chance of losing a lead increases significantly.
If a competitor can quote faster and remain competitive, jobs can be lost before a quote is even delivered. This long-winded process limits how quickly a business can scale, often requiring more staff and increasing costs, but it doesn’t have to be this way.
Booking systems
This is where a fundamental shift is already beginning to take place in the removals industry. Online provisional booking systems are emerging, designed to remove friction from the customer journey.
