February next year will see the annual IMA conference return to Bali having last visited the island in 2023.

The event will be eagerly anticipated by all those who have been before, who will know what to expect from this unique adventure of a conference, and those first-timers, who will have heard the chat and will be looking forward to a different experience.

The IMA conference is characterised by the one-to-one, scheduled meetings that take place throughout the business sessions. It was this event, led by the irrepressible Patricia Jade Ooi, that blazed the trail for these individual, formal meetings, planned to save time and avoid ‘no shows’ while giving participants the opportunity of spending uninterrupted, structured, quality time with each other to discuss mutual business. The meeting scheduler will be launched on the event website on 2 January, 2026 and will give attendees until 30 January, 2026 to fill their meeting diaries. 

The event will also include a social schedule to give attendees some down time for more relaxed networking.  But, unlike most other events, IMA has an impromptu element to it that enhances the ‘family feel’, allows for a little creativity and uses the benefit of instant communication to drive the agenda, at least to some degree.
