The British Association of Removers wins awards from the Trade Association Forum.

On 7 July, 2011 the British Association of Removers (BAR) won the Best Practice Award from the Trade Association Forum in the categories: Best Member Pack and Website of the Year.

The black-tie award ceremony and networking dinner was held at the Plaisterer's Hall, the largest and one of the finest Livery Halls in London. Martin Bayfield, the former England rugby union star, delighted guests with tales about his experiences with the England rugby team and gossip from the set of Harry Potter where he assisted Robbie Coltrane with his portrayal of the Hagrid character. After the awards, members gathered around the casino tables, kindly provided by Juice Event Production, in the bar for more entertainment.

The awards were collected on behalf of BAR by Stephen Vickers, BAR Director General and Paul Swindon, BAR Commercial Manager.
