Revised charges to improve Dartford Crossing.

The government has announced plans to raise the toll at the Dartford River Crossing for HGVs from £3.70 to £5.00 this October with a second rise in 2014 to £6.00. Transport minister Mike Penning said the extra revenue was needed to improve the crossing and fund measures to reduce congestion.
