The Met Office is working hard to help the transport industry reduce the impact of the weather to their operations.

A range of services has been provided, including 'OpenRoad' - an online weather forecasting package - and the innovative ‘Route Based Forecasting’, which helps road maintenance operatives optimise their winter activities, primarily gritting.
