Tom Bourne supports TumbleUp4Life

Apr 29 | 2013

Tom Bourne once again takes on the challenge of the 'Iron mountain' in aid of Cancer Research UK.

For the third year in a row, Tom Bourne of East Sussex-based Bournes will be supporting Cancer Research UK by participating in the challenge to conquer the Tumble in South Wales in the third TumbleUp4Life cycling event to be held on Saturday, May 4.

At Tumbleup4Life cyclists unite to gather funds in support of cancer recovery. They also seek to share their inspiration about living life to the fullest, even when that seems an uphill battle.

The struggle to conquer the Tumble as many times as possible in a single day symbolises the enormity of the task that cancer patients undertake every day to live life in spite of a disease.  Individual  participants cycle up to the  top of the ‘Iron mountain’ up to fifteen times each (or as many times as possible); teams pool their efforts to total the fifteen runs. Tom welcomes any donations, no matter how small, in his aim to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.  Donations can be made online at http://myprojects.cancerresearchuk.org/fundraise/fundraising-pages/tumbleup4life-2013-tom-bourne or by getting in touch with Tom directly on 0845 070 2007 or tomb@bournesmoves.com.

Good luck Tom from all the team at The Mover
