Bekins Moving Solutions based in Chatsworth, California has been moving Oscar statues for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for over 20 years.

The statues and the famous red carpet used to be stored with Bekins until the Academy moved into larger premises back in the mid 90's. Since then the crews have arrived every February to escort the life-size Oscars and the red carpet to the show site on Hollywood Boulevard, returning them safely the following day.
