Allen Removals & Storage Ltd won the Green Mover award at this year’s Irish Logistics & Transport Awards ceremony held at the Burlington Hotel Dublin on 21 March.

The company was chosen after demonstrating its commitment to reducing its impact on the environment, not just in its core business of transport but across all operations.  Measures included upgrading the company’s vehicle fleet, recycling waste materials and introducing wind and solar energy. 

The award was presented to Allen’s Transport Manager Edward Finn by Gerry Drum, Group Enterprise Manager for The Irish Independent.
