Throughout its history, Mac’s Truck Sales in Huddersfield, has supplied the moving industry with top quality, refurbished, second-hand trucks.

But now, in a new move for the company, it has put new vehicles into stock allowing its customers to buy new without having to wait for the delivery of a chassis and the body builder to complete its work.

Martin McDade-Smith is the company’s Sales Manager.  He explained that the company has been re-building second-hand vehicles for movers for many years and has a pretty good idea of what sells and what doesn’t.  “We know that our customers want a good payload, a versatile body, crew space and good reliability and economy.  We’ve been building our trucks that way for years so it was an obvious move to provide our customers with a new option.”

Most companies that want to buy new, and take the advantages of a full manufacturer’s warranty and the kudos of the latest registration plate, have to be prepared to wait.  However, now they can buy out of the showroom and be on the road in a day or two.  What’s more, all the new vehicles Mac's has in stock have been designed by Mac's with the benefit of its many years experience.  This way customers can be confident that their new truck will do the job efficiently and will continue to do so for many years.

Mac's, of course, still provides a wide range of second-hand trucks many of which are based upon various chassis that provide ideal units for movers with a higher specification that would normally be expected in a purpose-built box vehicle.
