Burke Bros Moving Group was the main sponsor of the 2015 Black Country Chamber of Commerce Annual Exhibition, held in Wolverhampton on 17 September.

The Annual Exhibition saw over 500 delegates with local businesses showcasing their products and services. The event was a huge success, with all 54 stands selling out in record time.

Gary and Chris Burke, Directors at Burke Bros, are from Wolverhampton where the firm was founded in 1982 and were proud to display one of their new trucks featuring a modularly packed container and a motorbike secured in a specially made timber case, to promote their services.

Managing Director Gary Burke said, “We were delighted to sponsor the Black Country Chamber’s Annual Exhibition. It was a fantastic event with a wide variety of local businesses in attendance. We believe in keeping business local wherever possible and this event was a perfect opportunity for us to reach out to new and current contacts.”

The exhibition featured a pop-up speed networking session and a seminar presented by a local business giving some useful tips relating to completing bids and tenders. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK and the Chamber’s aim is to facilitate growth within the local economy by strengthening the connections between businesses in the region.
