Stackt: a new digital moving platform for Greater London

Dec 08 | 2023

Steve Jordan talks to Rashid Aliyev to find out how Stackt works in London and what are the next steps following its receipt of £1m in venture capital funding.

Rashiv AliyevStackt is a technology platform that sits in between moving companies and their customers as an enabler.  The company was started in 2021 by Rashid Aliyev, the current CEO.  During that time the company claims to have worked with 700 customers and moved 1.3 million items.  It is currently operating primarily within Greater London but, following a recent influx of £1m venture capital funding, is planning to expand its services to other major cities in Europe and the USA.

Rashid explained that he has lived in London for 10 years and moved many times between rented properties.  “Each time I had the same three issues: it was expensive, stressful and inconvenient,” he explained.  His conclusion was that there was no technology being used to make the process more efficient and reduce the costs.

“So we decided to solve this problem with a simple technological solution that allows people to avoid dealing with dodgy man and van organisations that you can never trust,” said Rashid. “Instead they can go to our website, select the service that they are looking for, confirm the details and get an instant quote that is generated by our algorithm.” ...
