Restore in the UK has announced the appointment of David Robinson as its new head of cyber security.

The company said that David’s experience will reinforce its commitment to safeguarding customer data and business operations.

In his new role, David will be responsible for developing a long-term cybersecurity strategy, managing relationships with third-party security providers, and leading audit and certification initiatives, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials+. His leadership will also be key to embedding security best practices across all areas of the business and ensuring rapid and effective responses to any emerging threats.

David will report directly to Steve Beardsall, Group IT Director. "Our investment in David’s appointment underlines our unwavering commitment to protecting our systems, infrastructure, and, most importantly, our customers’ trust,” said Steve. “Having an expert of David’s calibre at the helm ensures that we remain not only secure but also a step ahead”.
