Kim Becker retires from AMS

Africa Mobility Services (AMS) has announced the retirement of Kim Becker, who has served as Chief Executive Officer for the past nine years.

Kim Becker bids farewell to AMSKim’s career in the global mobility industry spans several decades and leadership roles across multiple continents.

Since joining AMS, Kim has overseen the company’s transformation from a small, Angola-focused operator into a respected regional leader. Today, AMS has offices in Angola, South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, the Republic of Congo, and the DRC, and through its partner network delivers move management services across 24 African countries.

Kim’s legacy extends beyond growth. He fostered a culture of optimism, professionalism, and empowerment, particularly in nurturing young local talent. Now retiring to Cape Town, he plans to spend more time with family and enjoy his love of sport and the outdoors. AMS thanks Kim for his leadership and lasting impact.
