OpenTech Alliance has completed the integration of StorageTreasures.com, its online self storage auction platform, with U-Haul’s WebSelfStorage Business Platform.

The development is aimed at providing storage operators with a “streamlined, automated way to manage lien sales directly within the property management software they already use”.

The integration connects tenant data and auction workflows in real time, reducing manual effort while supporting compliance with lien laws. Operators can now create auctions more quickly, with unit information transferred seamlessly to StorageTreasures, helping to cut administrative time and improve accuracy by reducing the risk of manual entry errors.

Additional features include automatic auction cancellation if a tenant resolves their account before closing, real-time reporting on auction outcomes, and improved visibility for operators using OpenTech’s Auction Review Service.

According to Amanda Holt, Senior Vice President of StorageTreasures.com, the partnership enables “a smoother, safer auction process for both operators and tenants”. Dennis O’Connor, Vice President of U-Haul Storage Operations, added that the integration reflects U-Haul’s commitment to simplifying day-to-day management for its facilities and affiliates.

Operators using WebSelfStorage can now select StorageTreasures as their preferred provider and begin listing auctions directly through the platform.
