Renault Trucks has launched an open-access map showing the location of public charging hubs for electric trucks throughout Europe.

Available on the company’s website, the interactive map offers a regularly updated overview of both current and planned charging infrastructure, reinforcing the message that low-carbon transport is no longer a distant goal but an operational reality.

The map currently lists almost 500 existing or soon-to-be-operational public charging hubs. As of 30 September, 2025, there were 191 truck-specific operational hubs, 157 additional sites suitable for trucks, and 135 more in development. This growing network allows transport operators to plan long-distance electric routes with confidence, as drivers can conveniently recharge during regulatory breaks without affecting delivery schedules.

Key corridors such as the North Sea–Baltic route (Amsterdam–Warsaw, 1,200 km) and the Rhine–Alpine corridor (Rotterdam–Genoa, 1,240 km) are already well served, with several new stations under construction. In the near future, the arrival of high-capacity 'mega-chargers' will further reduce charging times to just minutes.

To accelerate adoption, Renault Trucks’ parent company, the Volvo Group, is supporting the expansion of high-power infrastructure through Milence, a joint venture developing a pan-European charging network for trucks and coaches.
