Lock Stock Self Storage has unveiled plans for a new state-of-the-art storage park in Crewe – the company’s first in the town and part of its expansion plans across Cheshire.

Lock Stock announces new Crewe siteWork is already underway on the 1.2-acre site at the junction of Catherine Street and Frances Street, transforming land left derelict after a fire at a disused printworks last year. The UK’s largest container-based storage operator expects to open the new facility next month.

Once complete, the Crewe site will offer more than 150 storage units with solar-powered lighting, keyless coded entry, and extended access hours from 6am to 11pm. Customers will also benefit from Lock Stock’s online booking platform, CCTV coverage, and live intercom support from its Denbigh head office – enabling new users to sign up and start storing within minutes.

Operations Manager Mike Trow said the move strengthens the firm’s footprint in Cheshire following recent openings in Winsford, Runcorn, and Northwich. “Crewe is a thriving town with a great commercial tradition,” he said. “Our flexible, affordable storage is a perfect fit.”

Lock Stock serves private, business, and student customers, while continuing to support local communities through sponsorships and charity partnerships.
