Britannia Movers International has announced the addition of Perrys Removals to its growing group, strengthening its coverage across West Essex and parts of Hertfordshire.

Perrys officially joined the Britannia network on 12 November, 2025 and attended its first area meeting just two weeks later.
The move forms part of Britannia’s wider strategy to expand its national footprint while maintaining high service standards. Established in 1981, the Britannia group provides members with access to shipping services, corporate sales, marketing support and bulk procurement, alongside the strength of its nationally and internationally recognised brand.
Britannia Movers Managing Director Iain Adams said the arrival of Perrys marks another important milestone in the group’s UK expansion, bringing high-quality independent expertise into the cooperative and reinforcing customer confidence.
Perrys Removals has a long history in the industry, founded by Jim Perry after his return from Burma following the Second World War. Originally focused on haulage, the business shifted towards removals and storage in 1979 and expanded rapidly during the 1990s through acquisition. Further growth followed in the 2000s, including entry into international moving and confidential shredding.
Now led by Nick and Jane Martin, Perrys sees joining Britannia as an opportunity to grow its European and overseas activity while continuing to develop domestic removals and storage services. Nick Martin said the business is looking forward to collaborating with fellow members and becoming “part of the family”.
