UKWA appoints commercial head

The UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) has appointed Richard Ellithorne as Head of Commercial, a newly created role designed to support membership growth, strengthen services and expand the Association’s training offer.

Richard brings almost 20 years of senior management experience in membership organisations, including roles with IOSH, the Builders Merchant Federation, the Road Haulage Association and CILT UK. His background includes membership development and training promotion, alongside business development, operations and project management roles within major logistics businesses. He has also worked as a consultant. 

In his new position, Richard will focus on supporting UKWA’s business priorities by growing membership, increasing training and commercial income, and helping raise the profile of warehousing and logistics within the wider supply chain and UK economy.
