From Saturday 14 July 2018, heavy vehicle test certificates in the UK have changed to make them clearer and easier to understand.

The new-style certificates for HGVs, PSVs and trailers will look similar to the new ones issued for car MOTs. There will also be a new 'Refusal to issue an MOT' form with clearer details on failure items.
