Wincanton-based Armishaws Removals has recently taken delivery of four Maxi Mover low loader Peugeot vans, taking its small move fleet up to twelve.

Armishaws new MaxiMoversLloyd Armishaw said, “These 3.5 tonne vans were immensely useful throughout the summer months in our ongoing work within the military camps. They have also given Armishaws the opportunity to enter the small move market, offering a more competitive rate.”

Armshaws has also added two Scania G320 demounts to its expanding fleet of drawbar demountables. The vehicles are designed to carry 1,900 cubic foot bodies used in long-distance moving throughout the UK and Europe.  With over 50 demountable bodies on the fleet, Armishaws has the advantage of being able to load and hold customers’ goods, giving them the flexibility to delay delivery when required.

Lloyd continued, “We also ordered two new Scania R340s with an expected delivery date of January 2020; but as a result of the uncertainty of Brexit they have already been delivered and are now with our body builders.”

“Irrespective of the outcome of Brexit, whenever that may be, we are looking forward to an ever-increasing demand for our removal services,” said Lloyd.
