Thanksgiving for Philip Jackson

Following the sudden and tragic passing of Phil Jackson in February this year, on Wednesday 6 April, TEAM Relocations held a Thanksgiving Memorial Service to celebrate the life of their colleague.

The service, initiated by TEAM and organised in association with Phil’s family, was held at the beautiful 16th century Grosvenor Chapel in London’s Mayfair. As with Phil’s funeral, there was a high attendance with many TEAM colleagues from across the Group, business friends and family, filling the Chapel.

A cloudless sky produced a beautifully warm spring day which served to enhance the service which contained a mixture of traditional hymns, personal eulogies, poetry and opera: a favourite of Phil’s.

Yogesh Mehta spoke on behalf of TEAM and several of Phil’s colleagues, who had known and worked with him for a considerable number of years, gave faultless readings, including a special tribute sent to TEAM by Gethin Dalton.  Ben Jackson, Phil’s son, concluded the eulogies with a moving tribute to his father.

Frank Grace hosted a post-service reception at his home, during which many a joyous story about Phil, his life and work, were exchanged.
