Crown World Mobility has appointed Giovanni (Gianni) De Carlo as business development director Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA).

Having spent the last eight and a half years as business development director for the Continental Europe region, Gianni’s geographical responsibility will now be expanded to cover EMEA.

Gianni, a Swiss national with Italian roots, speaks five languages, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich and an MBA in Aviation from the Danube University of Krems in Austria. Now based in Zurich, his professional career has also taken him to assignments in London, Madrid, Vienna and Geneva.

Commenting on the appointment, Barry Koolen, Chief Executive Officer, EMEA said: “The time is right to bring these regions together under common business development leadership and Gianni has the skills, experience and enthusiasm to take this team to the next level.”
