DNV has appointed Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria as chief operating officer.

Cristina is based in Singapore.  "It is an exciting time for the maritime industry and I am proud to play my part in supporting our customers as they navigate the complexities ahead,” she said.

DNV claims to be the world’s leading classification society and a recognised advisor for the maritime industry. Its role is to enhance safety, quality, energy efficiency and environmental performance of the global shipping industry.
