Mark Kirschner will be retiring as CEO for Wheaton/Beakins after 20 years in the job and 42 years with the company.  
                    
                     Jim Gaw, who joined the company last year as President, will take over from Mark as CEO.

In a press announcement, Mark praised the team with which he has worked alongside for so many years, especially the company’s professional drivers. “They represent the very best of this industry, and I’m proud of the standards they set every day,” he said.  
Jim Gaw has approaching 30 years of experience in the industry and will assume his new role on 1 January, 2026.  “I have complete confidence in his ability to guide this company into the future,” said Mark.
He added: We have an ownership structure that is well established and sustainable through our 100% Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).  With the strong market presence of Bekins Van Lines and Wheaton World Wide Moving brands; the outstanding level of service provided by our agents and drivers; and Jim’s leadership, we are confident in our ability to achieve our strategic goals and drive future success.”
Mark will continue to serve on the company’s Board of Directors.
