The international moving and logistics community is mourning the passing of Stefan Chorus, co-owner of Streff S.A., who died this month at the age of 63 after several months of illness.

Stefan ChorusA respected leader and visionary, Stefan spent four decades at Streff, shaping the company’s growth into one of Luxembourg’s leading names in removals, storage, and logistics. Alongside his late brother Max Chorus, who passed away in 2024, Stefan helped drive Streff’s expansion and diversification - from traditional moving services into secure archiving, document destruction and sustainable storage solutions.

Under his guidance, Streff became the first Luxembourg company to join FIDI, and Stefan himself was a long-standing Direct Affiliate Member of FEDEMAC, maintaining strong links with colleagues across Europe. He was instrumental in hosting the FEDEMAC Board meeting in Luxembourg and supported the Young Movers Conference in 2002, reflecting his commitment to collaboration and professional excellence.

Recognised for his integrity, generosity, and humanity, Stefan’s influence extended far beyond business. He was deeply involved in Luxembourg’s community life, supporting numerous cultural, sporting, and charitable initiatives.
