Leadership expansion at Reallymoving

Reallymoving, the comparison platform for home movers, has strengthened its senior leadership team with a key internal promotion and a high-profile appointment, signalling a new phase of growth for the business.

Irfan Taylor-Khan  and Dhiresh HiraniDhiresh Hirani, who joined the company in 2023 as Head of Marketing, has been promoted to the newly created role of Chief Growth Officer. Working closely with co-founder and CEO Rob Houghton, Hirani will drive the expansion of Reallymoving’s partner network and increase the proportion of UK home movers using its services. His remit also includes scaling the company’s high-quality lead generation capability and broadening its geographical reach. With over 17 years of experience in digital and growth marketing across technology, financial services, retail and travel, Hirani brings extensive strategic and commercial expertise to the role.

Joining the business as Head of Sales, Irfan Taylor-Khan will lead the expansion of Reallymoving’s network of vetted and accredited partners across conveyancing, surveying and removals - a community that already includes more than 700 firms. He joins with significant industry experience in partnerships and business development, having previously held senior positions at AnyVan, CarWow and eHarmony.

Rob Houghton, co-founder and CEO of Reallymoving, commented that the appointments reflect the company’s renewed ambition after 26 years of continual growth. He emphasised the importance of leadership with energy, expertise and commercial focus to cement the firm’s position as the leading provider of verified home-move leads in a rapidly evolving market.

Speaking on his appointment, Hirani highlighted the opportunity to innovate in line with changing home-moving behaviours and digital expectations, while Taylor-Khan expressed excitement at joining a team shaping the consumer moving experience.

Still majority-owned by co-founders Rob Houghton and Rosie Rogers, Reallymoving is used by 13% of UK homebuyers and has supported more than 2.8 million customers, generating leads worth £2.5 billion for property industry partners.
