AltoVita hosted its 5th annual Smart, Safe and Sustainable Summit in London at the end of June.
The event brought together business travel and global mobility leaders to discuss industry developments and highlight new solutions in corporate accommodation.
The summit featured four panel discussions with representatives from NBCUniversal, Databricks, Stripe, and Squarepoint Capital. Topics included the use of AI and data in improving employee experiences, the challenges of policy compliance, and the importance of real-time accommodation availability.
Opening the event, Co-founder and CEO Vivi Himmel reflected on AltoVita’s growth since its founding eight years ago, noting that the company has developed not only a platform but also a broader ecosystem supporting Fortune 500 clients.
Director of Engineering, Anton Reid, presented new AI-driven tools under development, including VitaAI, an AI engine designed to integrate into client systems. He also announced forthcoming Microsoft Outlook and Teams applications with built-in booking request functionality.
A highlight of the day was the unveiling of AltoStay, a guest experience app designed to enhance corporate travel management. The app provides real-time stay updates, AI-powered local recommendations, and 24/7 support. Co-founder and COO Karolina Saviova emphasised its potential to offer more personalised services, citing research that many travellers expect tailored experiences that are not yet consistently delivered. AltoStay is scheduled for release in Q4 2025, with beta testing opportunities available later this year.
Himmel underscored the company’s commitment to speed, transparency, and agility, explaining how adopting Agentic AI – designed to function with greater autonomy – would help AltoVita build and adapt quickly to client needs.
