BIL Group, the UK manufacturer of castors, wheels and materials handling equipment, has announced the acquisition of EVO Supplies’ “The Skate People” brand, marking its second strategic acquisition in as many years.

Founded in 2013 by Juliet and Greg Dunn, EVO Supplies has established itself as a  leading producer of wooden furniture skates (dollies), known for their robust, high-quality design. EVO’s range – available in both plain and customised corporate branding – is used throughout the removals, office furniture and air freight sectors.

BIL Group employs more than 60 staff and manufactures a wide portfolio of castors, wheels and handling equipment for delivery and warehousing operations. Since its acquisition by PHD Industrial Holdings in 2022, the business has pursued an ambitious growth strategy. This latest deal follows the purchase of H Varley Ltd in March 2024 and strengthens BIL’s position in the materials handling market.
