The Arpin Charitable Fund has announced that its Fifth Annual Arpin Strong Golf Tournament, held at the New England Country Club in Bellingham, Massachusetts, has successfully raised $27,479 for charity.
The Arpin Charitable Fund, also known as Arpin Strong, was formed to help those in need during natural disasters, or when unfortunate circumstances arise, by participating in community-based volunteer projects and fundraising events throughout the year.
Michael Killoran, co-chairman of the Arpin Charitable Fund, Inc golf committee and chief financial officer of Arpin Group said, “This was a very special charity golf tournament because it marks Arpin Strong’s fifth year. These golf tournaments have collectively raised about $130,000 for charity over the past five years, and we are very proud of our volunteers, sponsors and friends who have helped us achieve this incredible benchmark.”
Of the funds raised at this year’s event, $24,000 has been split equally in denominations of $6,000 and donated to the following charitable organisations: The Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Sojourner House and StopConcussions. The remainder of the funds will be used to promote other non-profit organisations and to continue with regular monthly donations to various charities.
Arpin Strong wishes to thank all its sponsors, particularly Courtney International Forwarding, which was the event’s top sponsor, platinum sponsor Citrin Cooperman, and gold sponsors Arpin America/Relocation Express, Carousel Industries, Royal De Gruijter & Co, and Mellor Agency.
