Arpin golf raises almost $250K for charity

The Arpin Charitable Fund announced today that its Ninth Annual Arpin Strong Golf Tournament / Bob Sullivan and Mark Dearborn Memorial was a tremendous success, raising $27,509 for charity; an impressive $247,500 over nine years.

Arpin Strong BOD  The Arpin Charitable Fund, also known as Arpin Strong, operates globally to further ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) issues.

The organisation’s 9th golf fund raising event was held on September 29 at the New England Country Club in Bellingham, MA. The annual competition aims to raise awareness and charitable investment in the tournament’s primary charity beneficiaries. This year’s event raised funds to aid the Global Institute For TransformationKCNT1 Epilepsy FoundationThe Coalition Against Pediatric Pain, and Marguerite’s Place.

“These four incredible organisations represent the heart of our mission, and we’re proud to have been able to assist them,” said Arpin Strong’s President/Treasurer, Michael Killoran. “We were privileged to have representatives from several charities present.”

Players came from all parts of the USA.  Unfortunately the weather was poor forcing the groundskeeper to call off play. However, this setback didn’t dampen players’ spirits and they enjoyed the day anyway.

“Arpin Strong is incredibly grateful for the continued support of our sponsors, donors, golfers, dedicated volunteers, and friends who continue to support us in our mission,” said Arpin Strong’s Vice President, Karen Bannon. “Without these incredible individuals, organising an event of this magnitude would not have been possible.
