North American reaches one million for Move For Hunger

North American Van Lines - a global brand of Sirva Worldwide, Inc - has partnered with Move For Hunger since 2011 to fight food insecurity in communities throughout the United States and Canada.

Adam Lowy presenting at the IAM conferenceThis year the van line proudly reached the milestone of collecting and transporting one million pounds of donated food thanks to the hard work and dedication of its agents and their teams.

Move For Hunger is a non-profit organisation that works with moving companies throughout the USA to recover unwanted, non-perishable food items when people move house, and distribute them to people who need them.

This is truly a testament to the passion and dedication of their moving professionals across the nation working to better the communities they serve," said Adam Lowy, Executive Director and Founder, Move For Hunger.
