Cadogan Tate expands US presenceCadogan Tate, the global specialist in high-value storage, art handling and logistics, has acquired Trefethen & Co Bader & Olson, a Seattle-based firm renowned for its expertise in furniture receiving, warehousing, delivery, and installation.

The deal marks Cadogan Tate’s seventh acquisition since joining the portfolio of private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners, and represents a major step in strengthening its position in the US Pacific Northwest.

With Trefethen’s headquarters in Seattle, the acquisition extends Cadogan Tate’s physical presence across North America, enabling it to offer coast-to-coast coverage for clients in the art, furniture, and interiors sectors.

The combined entity will serve a diverse range of clients, ranging from private collectors and galleries to corporate and architectural projects, providing a single point of contact for art handling, furniture logistics, and installation.

“This integration,” says the company, “ensures clients benefit from greater operational scale, enhanced coordination, and consistent service quality across all project types.”

“Integrating Trefethen & Co into Cadogan Tate marks an important step in realising our vision of a truly global, integrated home services platform,” states Ben Clark, Group CEO of Cadogan Tate.  “With Trefethen’s strong regional reputation and deep expertise, we can now offer clients an unparalleled standard of excellence across art, interiors, and installations worldwide.”
